About the Role:

MCP Construction LLC is looking for a experienced skilled Construction Estimator to join our growing team in Wixom, MI! In this critical role, you'll be at the heart of our project pipeline — turning blueprints into winning bids and helping drive the success of every build we take on. If you have a sharp eye for detail and a passion for construction, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial and/or Industrial construction projects

Review and analyze blueprints, specifications, and project scopes to develop detailed bid packages

Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure best value

Conduct material takeoffs and quantity surveys for all trades

Collaborate with project managers and field teams to align estimates with project execution plans

Track and maintain bid calendars, deadlines, and proposal submissions

Identify potential project risks and incorporate appropriate contingencies into estimatesRequirements:

5+ years of experience in construction estimating, bidding, or project management

Proficiency in estimating software

Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry pricing

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

Excellent math, analytical, and organizational skills

Strong communication skills for coordinating with subs, vendors, and internal teams

Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneouslyAbout Us:
