Student Data Technician
Colusa County Office of Education is looking for a Student Data Technician who can set up, maintain and oversee the student information system. Ensures proper collection of various data for State and Federal compliance reporting including, but not limited to, attendance collection, English Language Learners, Migrant, Homeless, Adult Education, Indian Ed. and other accountability programs. Assists with the coordination of all State and Federal mandated student testing including the California English Language Development Test. Creates and manages a profile of the S. William Abel students and Adult Education students. Components include student demographics and academic longitudinal performance studies. Serves as a Educational Services liaison with State, county, District and School Sites for the exchange of data with other schools or districts regarding State or Federal Programs.
CURRENT ASSIGNMENT LOCATION: Education Village SALARY: $65,064 - $95,277 per year HOURS/DAYS: 8 hours per day, 261 days per year BENEFITS: Partially paid medical, dental and vision benefits; paid sick leave; CalPERS retirement EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: AA Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in business or computer science or other related area is desired, BA preferred. Two or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and training. Experience in an administrative or other related office. LICENSES & REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate will be required to provide DOJ and FBI fingerprint clearance, TB test clearance, a valid California driver's license, and immunizations as described on complete job description following acceptance of job offer.
