Direct Hire $25–$30/hour

Marion Manufacturing is looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join our team in Cheshire, CT. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who takes pride in catching quality issues, working with production, and making sure precision-manufactured components meet customer requirements.

Marion has been a Connecticut manufacturing company for decades and specializes in precision metal stamping and components used across industries including medical, automotive, aerospace, defense, electronics, and telecommunications.What You'll Do

Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections of precision metal components

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and work instructions

Use precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools

Verify parts meet dimensional and customer requirements

Identify, document, and communicate non-conforming material

Work directly with machine operators and production personnel to resolve quality issues

Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation

Assist with maintaining inspection equipment and gauge records

Support continuous improvement and help maintain Marion's quality standards

Perform other quality-related duties as neededWhat We're Looking For

Previous experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings/blueprints

Comfortable using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools

Strong attention to detail

Ability to identify dimensional or visual defects

Good communication skills and ability to work with production

Manufacturing, machining, stamping, or precision metal experience is a plus
