Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders (as allowed by policy), transportation, and participation in community activities.
The role involves implementing individualized support plans, monitoring safety, documenting services provided, and communicating changes in needs or behavior to supervisors and care teams.
The Direct Support Provider helps individuals build life skills, maintain routines, and engage in meaningful activities, while promoting choice, respect, and independence.
This position also requires collaboration with coworkers, families, and other service providers to ensure consistent, high-quality support.\nQualifications\n\n Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Support skills to interact effectively with individuals, families, and team members.\n Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to observe, interpret, and respond appropriately to changes in behavior, needs, or routines.\n Candidates should possess Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to address minor issues with assistive devices, equipment, or service delivery.\n Relevant qualifications include reliability, empathy, and the ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.\n High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in human services, caregiving, or disability support is preferred but not required.\n Ability to meet physical demands of the role, follow safety procedures, and complete required background checks and training certifications.\n
