Databricks Engineer

Desired Skills

Experience with the Databricks Lakehouse Platform

Strong knowledge of Apache Spark, PySpark, Python, SQL, or Scala

Experience developing and optimizing data pipelines

Knowledge of Delta Lake, Delta Live Tables, Unity Catalog, and Databricks Workflows

Experience with data warehousing, data lakes, ETL, and ELT processes

Understanding of data governance, security, access controls, and platform administration

Experience integrating Databricks with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, or similar platforms is beneficial

Experience with CI/CD, Git, DevOps, and infrastructure automation

Knowledge of machine learning, MLflow, generative AI, or Mosaic AI is a plus

Experience with platform migrations, performance optimization, and production support

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with business and technical teams
