Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join the team supporting Toyota Financial through Infosys.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Java application development, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise application integration.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable applications while working closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and other engineering groups.

Required Skills

8+ years of experience in Java/J2EE application development

Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17+

Strong experience with Spring Framework / Spring Boot

Experience developing RESTful APIs and Microservices

Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOP, Collections, Multithreading, Exception Handling

Experience with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL

Experience with Kafka or other messaging technologies

Experience with Maven/Gradle and Git

Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines

Experience with JUnit/Mockito and unit/integration testing

Strong understanding of application performance, debugging, and troubleshooting

Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments

Preferred Skills

Experience with AWS or Azure

Docker/Kubernetes experience

Experience with cloud-native application development

Knowledge of Redis or other caching technologies

Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD tools

Financial services, banking, automotive finance, or enterprise application experience

Experience working with high-volume transactional applications

Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable Java applications and microservices.

Develop and maintain REST APIs and backend services.

Implement business requirements using Java and Spring Boot.

Integrate applications with databases, messaging platforms, and external systems.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.

Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.

Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.

Work with DevOps teams on CI/CD and application deployments.

Collaborate with onsite/offshore teams and business stakeholders.

Follow established coding standards, security practices, and development methodologies.

Interview Requirement

In-person interview is mandatory for the final round in Dallas, TX.
