Title: Senior/Lead Java Developer

Location: Columbus, OH. (Need local)

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, guiding daily activities and delivery expectations

Define team standards, engineering practices, and collaboration approach

Drive design and development of scalable microservices-based applications

Anticipate and manage cross-team dependencies to ensure timely delivery

Partner with stakeholders to align on priorities, compliance standards, and SLAs

Promote a culture of inclusivity, diversity, and high performance

Required Skills & Experience

10-15 years of hands-on software engineering experience

Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture

Proven experience working with AWS cloud technologies

Prior tech lead / team lead experience managing engineers

Strong understanding of:

CI/CD pipelines

Automation and DevOps practices

Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Application resiliency & security

Experience working in Agile environments

Domain exposure to Financial Services / Banking systems

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
