Job Title: Mainframe DB2/IMS Systems Programmer

Location: Plano, TX 12+ Months

Must Have Skills

Expertise in performing SMPE and Non SMPE Installation of ISV products)

Expertise in IBM and Client Software product Install and Upgrades

Mastery of DB2 and IMS Database management and utilities

Nice to have skills

DB2 V12 upgrades or later

IMS V15.5 upgrades or later

Job Description:

Installation Upgrades Installing new DB2 and IMS versions and applying maintenance.

Configuring DB2 and IMS subsystem parameters to optimize performance.

Utilizing DB2 and IMS tools to monitor database health and application objects.

Implementing DB2 and IMS security controls and collaborating with DBAs to manage application access.

Performing SOX audits on database objects to ensure compliance standards.

Coordinating with application and system teams to implement database enhancements.

Education: At least a bachelor s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field is required for the project
