Data Engineer (Ex-USAA)

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in dbt and Snowflake to join a Contract-to-Hire opportunity supporting a leading financial services client. The ideal candidate will have experience designing and developing scalable data pipelines, building ELT workflows, and optimizing cloud-based data warehouse solutions.

Required Skills:

5+ years of Data Engineering experience

Hands-on experience with dbt (Data Build Tool) and Snowflake

Strong SQL and data modeling skills

Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous USAA project or client experience

Local to San Antonio, TX (preferred) or Plano, TX
