Microbiology Tech I

Currently seeking a Microbiology Tech I in Columbus, OH. Details for the position are as follows:

Job Description:

Pay: $20/hr.

12-month assignment with possibility for extension or conversion based on performance and budget.

Position will mainly be responsible to prepare laboratory media/solutions, operate auto clave, PH solutions, plate/enumerate microbes, fill out data reports and place results on spreadsheet using Lotus.

Position will be responsible for data analysis and communicating data results.

Position will also be responsible to troubleshoot and have good analytical skills, and flexible to being trained.

Qualifications:

Associate's Degree with 2+ years of lab experience OR Bachelor's Degree is Required.

Experience with microbiology techniques is Required.

Experience with Microsoft Office is Required.

Experience with aseptic techniques is Preferred.
