Job Title: Java Developer – Spring Boot Microservices

Location: Local to Seattle, WA – Mandatory

Employment: Contract

Experience Required: 10+ Years

Core Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable Java applications and Spring Boot microservices.

Develop clean, well-tested, maintainable code following SOLID principles and engineering standards.

Participate in code reviews, architecture/design discussions, and sprint planning.

Troubleshoot production issues, performance problems, and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

Work with relational and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.

Build and consume REST/gRPC APIs.

Develop distributed messaging solutions using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS.

Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver scalable, reliable software solutions.

Contribute to high-availability environments involving virtualization, microservices, distributed systems, and software-defined networking.

Strong communication, customer service, and technical writing skills

Preferred Qualifications

AWS, Azure, or GCP

Kubernetes

Kafka / Event Streaming

Agile/Scrum experience

Security: Spring Security, OAuth2, JWT
