Position Type : Locum-to-Permanent We are actively seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Neurologist for an exciting locum-to-permanent opportunity in New York State, near Warnerville.
This is an excellent chance for a compassionate Neurology Physician interested in a dedicated outpatient practice setting, working primarily with adult patients and focusing on ALS care.
Position Highlights Start Date : Beginning January 2025 Practice Setting : Outpatient ALS-focused neurology office Patient Demographics : 100% adult, outpatient care Daily Patient Load : Expect to see an average of 6-7 patients per day Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8-hour days On-Call and Weekend Requirements : None EMR System : Epic Requirements Licensure : Active New York State medical license required Board Certification/Eligibility : Neurology, Palliative Care, Hospice, Physiatry, or Internal Medicine with ALS experience Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Special Experience : ALS expertise is a key requirement for this role Compensation : Hourly rate based on experience and qualifications, with a conversion fee cap of $25k for a transition to permanent Reimbursements and Support Travel Assistance : Facility will cover hotel accommodations and rental car expenses for the duration of the assignment.
