Quick Facts Location: Big Stone Gap, VA Start Date: 11/01/2026 End Date: 01/31/2027 Shift: 24-hour call shifts (08 00) Hours/Week: 40 hours/week Employment Type: Contract Licenses/Certifications: VA Medical License, BLS, DEA Experience: 1+ years in Hematology/Oncology; BC required Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $5,070/hour Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and reimbursements Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated team support What You ll Do Provide inpatient consultations for hematology and oncology patients at multiple facilities Support telehealth consultations during on-call shifts Cover one week of 24-hour call per month, maintaining clinic responsibilities Collaborate with dedicated nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams Document patient encounters efficiently using Epic EMR Manage an average of 15 adult patients daily Support infusion services and minor procedures as needed Maintain high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment What You Need Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology required Virginia medical license in hand (no licensing sponsorship) BLS certification DEA certification At least 1 year of relevant clinical experience Clear background; no settled or unresolved malpractice history About the Assignment Join a leading healthcare provider in Big Stone Gap, VA, floating between two sister facilities.
