Location: Work from home

Salary: $65,000 per year

Job Type: Full-Time

The Opportunity

Mike Agruss Law is looking for an experienced Prelitigation Personal Injury Paralegal to join our growing team.

This is a hands-on case management role for someone who takes ownership, communicates exceptionally well, and knows how to keep personal injury cases moving forward. You will manage your own prelitigation caseload under attorney supervision and serve as one of the primary points of contact for clients throughout their case.

Responsibilities:

What You'll Do

Manage a prelitigation personal injury caseload from intake through settlement in Litify

Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and provide regular, proactive case updates

Build strong relationships with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and other parties

Monitor clients' medical treatment and proactively address gaps, delays, and other issues

Request, track, organize, and review medical records, bills, liens, insurance information, and other case documentation

Identify missing information and make sure files are complete and moving toward demand

Using Eve, draft settlement demand letters and other case-related communications

Track deadlines, treatment progress, insurance issues, and next steps in Litify.

Work closely with attorneys to evaluate cases, identify potential issues, and develop case strategy

Help move cases efficiently toward resolution while maximizing value for clients

Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely case notes and tasks

Deliver an exceptional client experience through empathy, responsiveness, professionalism, and follow-through

Qualifications:

What We're Looking For

2+ years of personal injury prelitigation experience preferred

Experience independently managing a personal injury caseload

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines

Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through

A strong sense of urgency and the ability to proactively move cases forward

Confidence communicating with clients, insurance adjusters, and medical providers

Ability to have difficult conversations with clients while remaining empathetic and professional

Comfortable being held accountable to measurable expectations and performance standards

Ability to work independently while also collaborating closely with attorneys and team members

Comfortable learning and using technology, automation, and AI tools

Litify experience is a major plus
