Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable residential & commercial Plumber to install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in residential. The ideal candidate will diagnose issues accurately, perform high-quality workmanship, and deliver excellent customer service while adhering to all safety and building codes.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain water supply lines, drainage systems, fixtures (sinks, toilets, showers, faucets), and related plumbing components.

• Diagnose plumbing problems using specialized tools and equipment; determine the most effective and cost-efficient solutions. Provide service proposals to customers.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan and execute installations.

• Perform pipe fitting, soldering, threading, and joining of various materials (copper, PVC, PEX, cast iron, etc.).

• Clear drain systems using augers and hydrojetters. Excavate and replace DWV systems.

• Respond to service calls, emergency repairs, and scheduled maintenance in a timely and professional manner.

• Ensure all work meets local and national plumbing codes and safety standards.

• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent.

• Collaborate with other tradespeople, general contractors, and property managers as needed.

• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean, organized, and in good working condition.

• Provide clear communication and recommendations to customers regarding repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.

Required Qualifications

• Valid plumber’s license for the municipality of Warrensburg, MO.

• 3+ years proven professional experience as a plumber (residential, commercial, or both).

• Ability to handle service plumbing and construction plumbing projects.

• Proficiency with boroscopes, locators, drain augers, hydrojetters, mini excavators, and other heavy equipment.

• Valid driver’s license

• Physical ability to lift heavy materials, work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.

• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality workmanship.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master Plumber license.

• Experience with gas lines, water heaters, boilers, or specialized systems (e.g., radiant heat, backflow prevention).

• Familiarity with estimating and job costing.

• OSHA or other relevant safety certifications.
