Job Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the successful delivery of educational furniture projects from order to installation. This includes managing timelines, budgets, vendor relationships, deliveries, installations, and client communications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and skilled at juggling multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Enter, process and ensure accuracy of quotes and invoices.
Review project specifications, floor plans, and furniture layouts.
Coordinate with internal sales, design, and logistics teams.
Develop and manage project timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
Schedule and manage deliveries and installations with vendors and installers.
Conduct site visits to assess conditions and monitor progress.
Resolve issues and delays proactively with clients and vendors.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for each project.
Ensure all projects are completed on time, within scope and budget.
Support post-installation punch lists and customer satisfaction follow-ups.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience in project management, preferably in furniture, construction, interior design, or related industries.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to read floor plans and interpret specifications.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Familiarity with installation practices and logistics coordination.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Interior Design, or related field.
