Fort Jesse Imaging Center is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our outpatient imaging team in Normal, IL . Part-Time Flex 20-25 hours per week

Every other Saturday: 8:00 AM-5:30 PM

Job Summary: The MRI Technologist performs MRI procedures while providing safe, high-quality, and compassionate patient care. This position works closely with radiologists, providers, and other team members to ensure an excellent patient experience.

Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures according to established protocols.

Review physician orders and patient medical history.

Ensure high-quality diagnostic images.

Follow all MRI safety procedures and respond appropriately to emergencies.

Perform point-of-care creatinine testing as needed.

Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.

Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked exam rooms.

Up to 5 years experience as a MRI Technologist

Must have a minimum Associates Degree in Radiology or be a graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.

Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography, or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMIT) and maintain current valid registration from ARRT or ARMIT. MR advanced registration through ARRT or ARMIT is required upon hire for IDTF centers. Knowledge of routine to complex MRI procedures and protocols.

Skill in operation of MRI equipment as well as applicable ancillary equipment.

Demonstrates understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, radiopharmacology, and medical terminology.

Knowledge of computer applications, including information and billing systems, keyboard input, digital archiving, and retrieving of data.
