About the Company

Ansonia Properties, a Chicago-based multifamily investment firm, is looking for an experienced Asset Manager who will be primarily responsible for the development and strategic implementation of all initiatives within the investment business plan. This role is responsible for driving NOI through the oversight of leasing, property management, operating budgets, and capital projects for a growing multifamily portfolio.

About the Role

The Asset Manager is a leader with an established track record of business plan creation, execution, and value creation; technologically competent; and skilled in organizational and business development. The work is focused on the financial modeling, underwriting, budgeting, and valuation of a multifamily real estate portfolio. The successful candidate will have a robust analytical background, a strong work ethic, and demonstrate a focus on attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Own and execute asset-level business plans from acquisition through disposition

Drive NOI by managing leasing strategy, operating budgets, and capital improvement programs

Oversee third-party property management and hold them accountable to performance

Prepare monthly and quarterly investor and lender reporting; manage JV compliance

Conduct hold/sell/refinance analyses and reforecast IRRs at the asset and partnership level

Collaborate cross-functionally with acquisitions, construction, accounting, and capital markets teams

Conduct regular site visits and monitor submarket conditions to inform strategy

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field

5–7+ years of asset management experience, multifamily investment preferred

Proven track record of business plan execution and measurable value creation

Strong financial modeling skills — IRR, waterfall, hold/sell/refi analyses

Experience managing JV partnerships and communicating directly with equity and debt partners

Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; Yardi, IMS, or LRO experience is a plus

Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills

Proficiency in the use & application of AI tools

Base Compensation Range

$120,000.00 To $180,000.00 Annually. This represents the presently anticipated low and high end of the Company’s base compensation range for this position. Actual base compensation range may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.

Total Direct Compensation

This job is also eligible for discretionary bonus and incentive compensation on an annual basis.
