Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor

About the Role:

Opex Edge LLC is looking for a driven and experienced Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Fort Wayne, IN area. This is your opportunity to lead a skilled maintenance crew, keep our production lines running at peak performance, and make a real impact on the shop floor every day.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily activities of maintenance technicians across manufacturing operations

Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime

Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment failures

Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and spare parts inventory

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies

Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and improve reliability

Train, mentor, and evaluate maintenance staff performance

Requirements:

5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

2+ years in a supervisory or lead maintenance role

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) preferably SAP

Familiarity with lean manufacturing and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) principles

OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
