Maintenance Manager
Description:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee building, grounds, guest areas, amenities, parking, and staff housing at a hospitality property. You’ll lead the maintenance team, coordinate daily work, manage preventative maintenance, and ensure the property remains safe, functional, and well maintained.
Location: Jasper, AB
Pay: $60,000-$72,000/year
Key Responsibilities
Lead, train, and supervise the Maintenance team
Schedule and assign daily maintenance activities
Manage work orders, preventative maintenance, inspections, and records
Oversee building systems, equipment, vehicles, and staff housing
Manage parts, tools, supplies, and external contractors
Support renovations, capital projects, and seasonal property openings/closings
Conduct property inspections and address safety or maintenance concerns
Ensure compliance with safety, building, health, sanitation, and pool regulations
Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to urgent maintenance issues
Qualifications
3+ years of maintenance or facilities management experience
2+ years of supervisory or management experience
Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general building systems
Strong mechanical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Comfortable with scheduling, documentation, work orders, and basic computer systems
Able to read blueprints and technical documents and safely use tools
Strong organizational skills and commitment to safety and quality
Flexible to work varied shifts and participate in on-call rotation
Valid Alberta driver's licence; Class 4 is an asset
Commercial kitchen or pool maintenance experience is an asset
