We are seeking energetic, service-driven Front of House Managers and Supervisors who are passionate about hospitality and committed to operational excellence.

Position Summary

The Front of House Manager/Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the guest-facing areas of the venue, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining company standards, leading staff, and supporting financial performance. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Primary Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

Lead, coach, and motivate FOH staff to deliver exceptional guest service.

Supervise hosts, bartenders, servers, food runners, security, and support staff.

Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate daily objectives.

Maintain staffing levels and assist with scheduling.

Coach employees through performance improvement and accountability.

Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new team members.

Foster a positive, professional, and inclusive workplace culture.

Guest Experience

Ensure every guest receives outstanding hospitality.

Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.

Build relationships with regular guests and community partners.

Monitor guest satisfaction and implement improvements when needed.

Maintain a visible management presence throughout each shift.

Operations

Oversee opening, shift change, and closing procedures.

Ensure compliance with all company SOPs.

Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the venue.

Monitor POS accuracy and cash-handling procedures.

Ensure all liquor, food safety, and health department regulations are followed.

Coordinate with kitchen, bar, entertainment, and security teams to ensure seamless operations.

Financial Accountability

Drive sales while controlling labor and operating costs.

Monitor daily sales performance and key performance indicators.

Assist with inventory controls and loss prevention.

Review voids, comps, discounts, and cash reconciliation.

Ensure accurate reporting at the end of each shift.

Safety & Compliance

Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.

Maintain a safe environment for guests and employees.

Handle emergency situations professionally.

Complete incident reports accurately and promptly.

Work closely with venue security when necessary.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of restaurant, bar, nightclub, or hospitality management experience preferred.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Excellent guest service skills.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of POS systems and Microsoft Office.

Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Illinois BASSET certification (or ability to obtain).

Food Handler Certification (preferred).

Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.

Physical Requirements

Stand and walk for extended periods.

Lift up to 50 pounds.

Work in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.

Navigate crowded hospitality venues safely.
