Machine Operator (Full-Time)

Job Description

Perform operations on assigned machines including set-ups, troubleshooting, and teardown. Operators must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50lbs.

Qualifications:

Good attendance / punctuality

Mechanical aptitude

Ability to interact well with co-workers

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Flexible self-starter not afraid to try new things

Primary Duties:

Efficient machine set-up including quality check

Proficient die handling – loading, unloading, etc.

Reading blueprints and part specifications, calipers and ruler

Operation of machine with limited interruptions

Monitoring product during run, troubleshooting, machine teardown

Accurate completion of paperwork

Secondary Duties:

Cross-training on other machinery

Maintaining neat and safe work area

Assisting other workstations / departments

Other duties as assigned by production manager
