About The Role We’re hiring a dependable Cashier to join the team at our Shell station in Columbus.

This front-line role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, keeps transactions accurate, and helps maintain a tidy, safe convenience store and fuel area.

You’ll be the face of Marshall Shell—creating positive experiences for motorists, commuters, and neighborhood customers.

Key ResponsibilitiesGreet customers warmly and provide fast, friendly service at the register and fuel pump pay pointsOperate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately—process cash, card and balance a cash drawerMaintain store appearance: restock shelves, clean pump islands, check restrooms, and rotate perishablesMonitor fuel and store safety protocols, report hazards, and follow loss-prevention proceduresPromote in-store promotions, loyalty programs, and add-on sales to meet daily goalsAssist with inventory counts, deliveries, and opening/closing duties as scheduled Preferred QualificationsPrevious cash handling or retail experience, ideally in a convenience store or gas station environmentFriendly, patient customer service orientation with strong communication skillsReliable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays and cover call off'sBasic math skills and comfort using POS systems and handling transactionsAbility to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weight for restocking, and perform light cleaning tasksValid work authorization for employment in Columbus, OH What Makes You A Great Fit You thrive in steady, team-focused environments, are detail-oriented with cash and inventory tasks, and take pride in delivering consistent, friendly service.
