With an average of 262 cases and 20 labor patients per month, this role offers a perfect balance of professional fulfillment and personal flexibility.

Because Carlsbad is located in a New Mexico area of critical need, eligible physicians may qualify for up to $300,000 in student-loan repayment in exchange for a four-year service commitment.

Position Highlights

Team Structure:

Care team manage daily bread-and-butter OR surgeries across four operating rooms, supported by skilled surgeons and staff. OVERTIME FOR OVER 40 hours a week!

Case mix excludes heads, hearts, and trauma.

Call Schedule:

Call is every fourth week, covering Monday to Thursday, 7 PM to 7 AM. No daytime work during your call week.

No call responsibilities for the remaining three weeks each month.

Work-Life Balance:

On non-call weeks, you go home as soon as your cases are done.
