Position Summary: We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Receiving Steward to join our team during the busy holiday season beginning immediately and running through mid-January. This is a seasonal role; however there is a strong possibility of permanent employment based on performance and fit with the team. The primary responsibility of the receiving steward is to work with the receiving team to check-in deliveries, ensuring quality and accuracy. You'll also be responsible for general office support tasks, including handling documents, scanning, labeling and organizing digital files. Key Responsibilities

Receive and process deliveries with care and accuracy

Use basic computer skills to scan, download, label and organize invoice files

Communicate clearly with vendors and internal teams to ensure accuracy and quality, both in person and via email

Move product safely from trucks using carts & U-boats

Sort, stock and organize general inventory supplies

Clean and maintain back-of-house workspaces and common spaces as needed

Work in both indoor and outdoor conditions

Qualifications

Strong communication skills - clear, respectful and responsive

Problem-solving mindset - figure things out and keep things running smoothly

Comfortable with basic computer tasks

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to be on your feet, regularly lift up to 40lbs, standing, twisting etc. throughout shift

Prior experience in receiving, grocery, retail or inventory a plus, but not required

Availability 6am-3pm most days
