Salary Range $20.00 - $20.50 Hourly Position Type Full Time

Description

Heritage Woods of Dwight seeks a Lead CNA to manage schedules and call-off coverage, provide resident care, train CNAs, and assist the DON. Must cover open shifts as needed and work at least one weekend per month. CNA certification/training required.

Responsibilities:

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing (DON), supports coordination of the nursing aide schedule

Assists with various clerical duties as requested

Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and maintaining dignity

Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team

Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience

Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences

Comply with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident and employee information

Qualifications

Qualifications:

High School graduate or GED equivalent required

Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity
