About the Role

We are seeking a talented Java Developer to join a large-scale modernization initiative within a leading financial institution's Connected Commerce Payments team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience building cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and AWS technologies.

Required Skills

5+ years of software development experience

Strong hands-on experience with Java

Spring Boot

Microservices Architecture

REST API Development

Strong Database experience (Oracle, SQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)

Experience with system design and application development

Knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC

CI/CD experience

Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications

Build and enhance Spring Boot Microservices and RESTful APIs

Develop secure, high-quality production code

Participate in system design, architecture discussions, and code reviews

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues

Work with large datasets and optimize application performance

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment

Contribute to CI/CD, resiliency, and cloud adoption initiatives

Support modernization efforts and migration to cloud-native architectures
