Support Worker — Gloucester

Starting pay: £12.77 per hour Permanent

Good support gives people more choice in their own lives. You could be preparing a meal together, supporting a daily routine or helping someone take part in an activity they enjoy.

You’ll support adults with learning disabilities, autism and other support needs at home and in the community. The role includes personal care where needed, following care plans, keeping clear records and working with colleagues. Medication support follows appropriate training, competency checks and authorisation.

This could suit you if you’re patient, dependable and enjoy helping people build confidence and everyday skills. Care experience is helpful rather than essential. Training, experienced colleagues and opportunities to work towards Health and Social Care qualifications support your development.

You’ll need a full UK driving licence with manual entitlement and reliable travel to Gloucester/Gloucestershire; an own car is not essential. The employer cannot provide sponsorship. Appropriate work-permission, DBS and reference checks apply.
