24/7 dedicated team support throughout your assignment What You'll Do:

Assist in gross specimen examination, focusing on benign lesions, colon cancer resections, and native liver specimens

Prepare tissue samples from operating room specimens for further analysis

Perform procurement for research purposes, including tissue selection for karyotyping and biopsy grossing

Collaborate with laboratory staff and pathologists to ensure precise specimen handling

Support lab workflows, including case cataloging and documentation

Contribute to maintaining high-quality pathology services in a busy hospital environment What You Need:

Valid PA (ASCP) certification

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a pathology lab setting

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

About the Assignment:

Join our Doan Laboratory team, working closely with specimens from the University Hospital OR. The role includes handling benign cases, biopsies, and occasional cancer resections, with some research procurement. Emphasis on specimen accuracy, efficient processing, and adhering to safety standards ensures high-quality pathology services.
