Work Environment
You will work both onsite at our Menifee rehabilitation center and in aquatic environments, which allow for varied treatment modalities tailored to individual patient needs. Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine appropriate therapeutic interventions.
Develop and implement effective treatment plans addressing orthopedic conditions such as pre and post-surgical recovery, sports-related injuries, chronic pain management, and lower-level neurological issues.
Utilize both land and aquatic therapy techniques to optimize patient rehabilitation.
Monitor patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, goals, and self-management strategies to ensure continuity of care.
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation in compliance with legal and professional standards to track treatment efficacy and patient progress.
Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care and recovery.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
Patient Population / Client Focus
This role focuses primarily on orthopedic patients, which includes individuals recovering from surgery, athletes with sports-related injuries, and those experiencing chronic pain or lower-level neurological conditions. Our patient demographic is diverse, consisting of various ages and activity levels, necessitating an adaptable and empathetic approach to therapy. You will play a pivotal role in improving their functional mobility and overall quality of life.
Qualifications
Current and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist in California.
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to continuing education and professional growth.
Preferred Experience
A minimum of 1 year of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
