Production Plant Manager

24/7 Manufacturing Operation 2-Shift Operation

Growing manufacturing company seeking an experienced Production Plant Manager to lead a 24/7 manufacturing operation. This role oversees production, personnel, material flow, safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Core Responsibilities

Lead daily plant production and allocate manpower to meet schedules and production goals.

Directly manage and develop a workforce of 25+ employees.

Monitor productivity, quality, inventory, and material flow.

Identify and resolve production obstacles and operational issues.

Hire, train, coach, and develop production employees.

Partner with Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations leadership on process improvement.

Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient production environment.

Establish and track production KPIs and operational goals.

Support staffing and operational needs across a 24/7, two-shift manufacturing operation.

Required Qualifications

3+ years of manufacturing leadership/management experience.

Demonstrated experience managing 25+ employees.

Strong production-floor leadership and problem-solving skills.

Working knowledge of manufacturing equipment, processes, and materials.

Strong communication, organization, and decision-making abilities.

Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Successful completion of a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening required.
