Production Operator

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 6-month contract with potential for temp-to-perm based on business needs

Location: Phoenix, AZ – 100% On-Site

Hours: 40–50 hours per week

Schedule: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM, with occasional later hours depending on production needs

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable, motivated Production Operator to support manufacturing and production operations. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong desire to learn, grow, and succeed in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The Production Operator will oversee the operation of processing equipment and manufacturing processes, perform routine tests, monitor and document production activities, and determine when processes are complete. This individual will work safely with batch processing equipment to produce high-quality coating products while following established safety and quality procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Maintain accurate production and manufacturing records.

Handle and move raw materials and finished products safely.

Print and apply product labels.

Label buckets and other production containers accurately.

Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.

Operate palletizing equipment.

Monitor processing equipment and production activities.

Perform routine tests and observations throughout the production process.

Follow established safety procedures and safe work practices.

Support daily plant and production activities as needed.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.

0–2 years of related manufacturing or production experience.

Strong written, verbal, and listening communication skills.

Ability and willingness to actively participate in daily production and plant activities.

Familiarity with workplace safety practices, safe behavior observations, and team-based activities.

Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and follow established procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in production operations or manufacturing.

Experience operating or working with batch processing equipment.

Previous paint, coatings, or chemical manufacturing experience.

Forklift operating experience.

Experience with palletizing or material-handling equipment.
