The Escort Support Personnel Assistant shall provide escort support, driving duties, and superior customer service to visitors and guests in support of the Office of Military Commission’s (OMC) mission at Naval Station Guantanamo Bay (NSGB), Cuba.

Responsibilities

Drive government provided vehicles on NSGB, Cuba, providing transportation services to assigned visitors and guests attending the Office of Military Commission hearings on NSGB.

Arrive at designated pickup and dropoff locations at required times and designated schedules.

Coordinate with CABS site lead and designated government leads to understand, confirm, receive and follow authorized pickup and dropoff schedules.

Greet assigned visitors and guests in a polite and professional manner

Drive assigned visitors and guests to/from designated/authorized pickup and dropoff locations on NSGB.

Ensure designated visitors and guests understand and follow NSGB rules for transportation services.

Report any infractions of the rules to the designated government representative.

Complete assigned annual company and customer training requirements in a timely manner according to established policies and procedures.

Record labor hours daily in an online corporate system.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent required

Must have a valid driver’s license

Must be able to follow and obey all NSGB rules/regulations for safe transport and operation of government provided vehicles

Must be an island resident, no travel to/from NSGB will be provided

Background check required

Successfully pass background and drug screening

Preferred Qualifications:

Secret clearance desired

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Must be available to work in an on-call capacity.

Must have the ability to attend all customer in-person meetings and conferences as requested.

Must have the ability to communicate with others effectively both orally and in writing.

Maintain a high level of integrity and accountability.

Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as requested.
