Facility: The Hamptons Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing

Location: Southampton, NY

Schedule: Full-Time Monday–Friday Day Shift

Salary: $90,000–$95,000 per year

The Hamptons Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing is seeking an experienced and dedicated RN Unit Manager to oversee the clinical and administrative operations of a subacute nursing unit. The RN Unit Manager will provide strong leadership to the nursing team, coordinate resident care, and help ensure a safe, efficient, and therapeutic environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the clinical and administrative management of the nursing unit

Supervise nursing staff and ensure quality resident care

Ensure compliance with nursing standards, facility policies, and procedures

Oversee resident admissions, transfers, and discharges

Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation

Monitor resident progress and coordinate appropriate interventions

Promote effective communication among nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams

Ensure compliance with all applicable New York State and federal regulations

Support staff development, teamwork, and efficient unit operations

Utilize SigmaCare and other computer systems for clinical documentation and resident management

Requirements

Current New York State RN license

Minimum 1 year of nursing home experience required

1–2 years of nursing experience preferred

Experience in subacute rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or long-term care

Supervisory or nursing management experience preferred

Strong leadership and decision-making skills

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Ability to work independently and effectively problem-solve

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Strong computer skills

Experience with SigmaCare preferred
