Bruce Community Living Center is seeking a compassionate and dependable Personal Care Nurse-CNA to join our team!
Details:
Shift Hours- 7am to 7pm
The Personal Care Nurse-CNA is responsible for providing hands-on care and support to residents in a personal care setting under the direction of licensed nursing staff and in accordance with resident care plans, established standards of care, and company policies and procedures
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate a visible commitment to the Bruce CLC mission, vision, and values while promoting teamwork and collaboration.
Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents in accordance with individual care plans.
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
Assist residents with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation as needed.
Measure and record vital signs, weights, intake and output, and other information as directed.
Observe residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns or changes to the nurse.
Assist with meals and encourage proper nutrition and hydration.
Provide incontinence care and maintain resident comfort and dignity.
Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable resident environment.
Answer resident call lights and respond to resident needs in a timely and respectful manner.
Encourage residents to participate in activities and maintain their independence whenever possible.
Communicate professionally and respectfully with residents, families, visitors, and members of the healthcare team.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required.
Follow infection control, safety, and emergency procedures.
Maintain the confidentiality of resident information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Follow all facility policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
CNA certification in good standing
Current CPR certification required or obtained within the required timeframe.
Previous experience in long-term care, assisted living, personal care, or a healthcare setting preferred.
