LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)

Responsibilities:

Administer injections, medications, nebulizers, EKG's, finger stick glucose, INR, A1c, pulmonary function testing etc.

Telephone Triage, problem-solving, work closely with providers on the best solution for patient issues.

Responding to office emergencies

Provide patient and family education on disease states, equipment use, and medication use.

Collect samples for lab testing, including throat, wound, and urine cultures.

Qualifications:

Successful completion of the LPN license program is a must

NYS LPN license

Proven experience in medical office

Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team

Familiarity with OSHA, HIPAA, and medical terminology

Good physical condition and stamina

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Flexible, compassionate and able to handle stress

Pay:

$29-$31 /hr, depending on applicable experience
