Job Summary

As a Junior Frontend Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining modern React-based user interfaces while collaborating with senior engineers to build scalable web applications.

Job Duties

(50%) Front-End Application Development

Develop and maintain modern front-end applications using React.js and TypeScript

Build reusable, responsive user interface components using HTML5 and CSS3

Consume REST APIs using Axios or Fetch and display API data within the application

Work with JSON data structures and integrate backend services into the UI

Collaborate with senior engineers to implement new features and enhancements

(25%) Application Integration & Collaboration

Implement front-end functionality using asynchronous programming patterns including Promises and async/await

Debug application issues using browser developer tools

Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback from senior engineers

Collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment

Learn and contribute to modern front-end development practices

(25%) Engineering Excellence

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

Use Git for source control, including branching, merging, pull requests, and collaboration

Follow established coding standards and engineering best practices

Participate in testing, debugging, and issue resolution

Continuously developing technical skills and contributing to team knowledge sharing

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

1-3 Years professional experience developing front end applications.

Strong understanding of React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3.

Experience with Typescript

Experience consuming REST API’s using Axios or Fetch

Comfortable working with JSON data and API responses.

Understanding of asynchronous programming, such as promises, async/await

Familiarity with common data structures including Arrays, objects, maps, sets

Experience with common Git commands such as push, pull, merge, fork, clone

Basic debugging skills using browser developer tools.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Next.js

Experience with Tailwind

Experience with Claude Code/Codex

Understanding of micro frontend architecture

Understanding of module federation

Experience with AWS Amplify/ Cubernetes/Docker

Experience working in an Agile environment

Understanding of responsive design

Salary Range$80,000.00 - $110,000.00

A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individual’s skill sets, experience, training, education, licensure/certifications, and qualifications for the role.
