JOB SUMMARY

Experience looking at plans, setting both metal and wood forms ahead of hand-placed and slipform concrete placing operations. Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction projects. Requires good communication skills and working with all levels of personnel and management.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

Set the forms that hold concrete to the desired pitch and depth and alignment for roads, drives, curb, median, sidewalks walks and concrete slabs

Using hand and power tools

Read and understand grade stakes

Direct pouring concrete as needed

Physical work is expected as a form setter and assist the crews as necessary

Abide by all company regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Educational requirements: High school/ GED and minimum 3 years of related work experience

Job is physically intense and requires, Bending, Kneeling, Stooping, Crouching, Twisting, Standing, and carrying over 50lbs

Ability to effectively work with all levels of personnel and management.

Self-motivated and able to work productively with minimal supervision.

Must have a valid Nebraska driver’s license.

Ability to work overtime including nights and weekends if required to meet project schedule
