Saw Operator

Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

Ability to operate walk-behind concrete saws, both full-depth and Soff-Cut saws. Will also be responsible for hot taring operations. Must be willing to work with a team of other construction workers to assist in completing a variety of tasks.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

Must be willing to complete sawing activities post hand placed and slipform concrete placement

Miscellaneous full depth saw cutting

Travel to jobsite (or multiple jobsites) and perform sawing/taring responsibilities

Must be able to do light service and maintenance on equipment

Saw operations include walk behind saws and quickie saws

Operate the tar truck, hot tar sealing concrete joints

Physical work is expected to operate saws and assist the crews as necessary

Abide by all company regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Educational requirements: High school/ GED and minimum 3 years of related work experience

Job is physically intense and requires, Bending, Kneeling, Stooping, Crouching, Twisting, Standing, and carrying over 50lbs

Ability to effectively work with all levels of personnel and management.

Self-motivated and able to work productively with minimal supervision.

Must have a valid Nebraska driver’s license. CDL preferred

Ability to work overtime including nights and weekends if required to meet project schedule.
