About your Role
As a Financial Controller, you will act as a finance business partner and subject-matter expert for a dedicated business area within the Group structure (e.g. Payments, Banking, Sales). In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders, providing financial insight and analytical support that drives strategic and operational decision-making.
This is a highly independent role suited for someone who is curious, data-driven, and motivated to truly understand the business they support, while actively contributing as a trusted finance partner.
Key Accountabilities and activities
Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes by providing analytical support and business insight
Prepare financial analyses and ad-hoc reports to support strategic and operational decision-making
Conduct variance analysis (actuals vs. budget/forecast) and identify key business drivers
Monitor financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and proactively recommend actions
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and Group Finance structures
Analyze profitability across different business dimensions
Ensure financial processes comply with internal policies and standards
Contribute to improving the accuracy, quality, and efficiency of financial analysis and reporting
Translate complex financial data into clear and meaningful business recommendationsAbout you
You have at least 3 years of experience in Finance, Controlling, or a similar finance business partnering role, ideally within a multinational or group-structured organization
You hold a Master’s degree in Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
You are comfortable working in complex matrix and cross-functional environments
You have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
You have a knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, reporting structures
You possess strong analytical skills and enjoy understanding the “why” behind the numbers
You are proactive, self-reliant, and able to independently manage priorities and deliverables
You have a problem-solving mindset and a strong sense of ownership
You can confidently communicate with senior stakeholders and present financial insights in a clear and business-oriented way
You have advanced English skills, both written and spoken, including the ability to prepare presentations and complex documentationNice to have
Experience in the Payments, Banking, or Financial Services industry
Knowledge of IFRS standards
Experience working within multinational Group Finance structures
