Job Description

Shape how complex parts come to life

Step into a high-mix, low-volume environment where precision, agility, and creativity intersect. As our 5-Axis CNC Manufacturing Process Engineer, you’ll own process development from CAD/CAM strategy through shop-floor execution—combining world-class Mastercam programming with practical automation to boost throughput and repeatability. A day in this role

Morning: Review new part designs, select tooling/fixturing, and craft optimized 5-axis toolpaths in Mastercam. Validate with simulation and G-code reviews.

Midday: Partner with design, production, and automation teams to de-risk manufacturability, troubleshoot setups, and refine programs for cycle time and surface quality.

Afternoon: Stand up or tune automation (pallets/robots/probing) to elevate flexibility and throughput. Document workflows and NC strategies for repeat builds.

Always: Lead lean/Six Sigma improvements, uphold safety, quality, and environmental standards, and mentor peers on best practices. What you’ll tackle

Optimize processes for complex geometries and materials in a high-mix, low-volume setting.

Program and debug 5-axis CNC machines using Mastercam; post, prove-out, and refine G-code.

Design and implement automation to increase flexibility and throughput.

Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve manufacturing challenges quickly and sustainably.

Drive continuous improvement using lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

Create clear documentation for machining processes, NC programs, and automation workflows.
