Job Description

Pinon Unified School District, a leading primary/secondary education provider, is seeking a Exceptional Student Service Bus Monitor to ensure the safety and well-being of children during their transportation to and from school. As a Bus Monitor, you will have the chance to play an integral role in the educational experience of our students. Pinon Unified School District has a rich history of providing quality education to our community, and we are excited to welcome a new member to our team.

Responsibilities

Assist the bus driver in maintaining a safe and orderly bus environment.

Monitor the behavior of students and report any incidents to the appropriate authorities.

Ensure that students are following all safety regulations and procedures.

Maintain accurate attendance records for each student.

Provide first aid assistance when necessary.

Communicate with parents and school administrators about any issues that arise during transportation.

Keep the interior of the bus clean and free from clutter.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work with children of all ages.

Knowledge of first aid and emergency procedures.

Ability to stand, sit, and move around the bus for an extended period of time.

Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in stressful situations.

Must be able to pass a background check and physical test.
