Step into a Day on Our Floor

In Hillsboro, OR, you’ll join a tight-knit manufacturing team using modern CNC technology to produce precise, high-quality components. As an early-career CNC/CAM Programming Technologist, you’ll grow your craft in a collaborative setting where accuracy, learning, and teamwork matter. Morning: Turn blueprints into motion

Study engineering drawings and apply GD&T to plan accurate machining strategies.

Build CAM toolpaths and generate clean, efficient G-code for CNC mills (3–4 axis VMC).

Coordinate with engineers to dial in feeds, speeds, and workholding for first runs. Midday: Keep production moving

Perform CNC setups and changeovers to transition between production runs smoothly.

Troubleshoot tooling or machine issues quickly to minimize downtime.

Jump in on manual machining when needed to support throughput. Afternoon: Verify and improve

Validate parts using precision measurement and hand metrology tools to confirm specs.

Refine programs and setups based on inspection feedback.

Maintain an orderly, safe work area and follow all shop safety protocols. What you bring

Proficiency in CNC programming and G-code.

Understanding of CNC tooling plus setup/changeover practices.

Experience reading blueprints with GD&T.

Solid troubleshooting ability for CNC machinery and tooling.

Familiarity with CAD/CAM software.

Hands-on skill with precision measurement and hand metrology.

Manual machining experience is a plus.

Strong attention to detail, quality focus, and a collaborative mindset. Tools & tech
