Work Environment\n This role is predominantly remote, enabling you to conduct sessions from the comfort of your own home.
As a telehealth facility, we are equipped to support you with the tools necessary to perform assessments and deliver therapeutic interventions effectively.
We emphasize work-life balance and offer flexible scheduling options, with operating hours from 7 am to 10 pm, seven days a week.
Key Responsibilities\n Your primary responsibilities will include: \n \n * Conducting comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' backgrounds and tailor treatment plans accordingly.
\n * Developing individualized treatment plans that navigate trauma recovery and enhance resilience.
\n * Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). \n * Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions to help patients process their trauma, cultivate coping strategies, and facilitate healing.
\n * Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated and holistic care.
\n * Offering crisis intervention support when unexpected trauma-related emergencies arise.
\n * Educating patients and their families on trauma responses and available resources to aid their recovery journey.
\n * Maintaining accurate, confidential documentation to uphold legal and ethical standards in mental health care.
\n * Participating in case consultations and comprehensive professional development activities focusing on trauma-informed care.
\n * Staying informed about the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to continually enhance patient outcomes.
\n Patient Population / Client Focus\n Your work will primarily focus on individuals who have experienced trauma, including children, adolescents, and adults.
You will be helping clients navigate their healing journeys through tailored therapeutic interventions that promote resilience and recovery.

Qualifications\n To be successful in this role, you must possess: \n \n * A Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
\n * A current and valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Texas.
\n * Strong knowledge base in trauma-related disorders and treatment modalities.
\n * Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostered by a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.
\n * The ability to remain calm in high-stress situations and demonstrate resilience.
\n * Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
\n Preferred Experience\n While not mandatory, candidates with the following experience will be favored: \n \n * A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting.
\n * Direct experience utilizing trauma-focused therapeutic techniques.
\n * A willingness to work with couples, with training provided by the organization.
\n Compensation and Benefits\n We offer a highly competitive salary range of $70,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
