LHH is partnering with a respected organization in downtown Columbus to identify an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team. This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys balancing customer service, collections, and account management responsibilities while working closely with both business and individual customers. The successful candidate will bring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach to resolving account issues.

Responsibilities

Manage past-due accounts by conducting collection outreach, monitoring payment plans, documenting account activity, and escalating complex issues when necessary

Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, and internal stakeholders regarding account inquiries, statements, payment arrangements, and invoice requests

Generate account statements, process account adjustments and write-offs, and maintain accurate records within accounting and collections systems

Research account activity, prepare account reconciliations, and provide detailed account analysisQualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in customer service, collections, accounts receivable, or a related accounting support role

Proven ability to work effectively with both business and individual customers while maintaining a high level of professionalism

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to navigate sensitive financial conversations and resolve issues diplomatically

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including formatting, editing and formulas

Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentWhy Apply?
