You will develop and refine Mastercam programs, choose tooling and workholding approaches, and work directly with machinists to improve setup, cycle time, and part quality. The work includes both milling and turning, with multi-axis experience especially valuable. You will also help strengthen programming standards, documentation, templates, and revision control as the operation grows. ️ What you'll be doing

Create, refine, and troubleshoot CNC programs in Mastercam

Develop efficient toolpaths for milling and turning work

Support 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining strategies where applicable

Select tooling, cutting strategies, and workholding solutions

Partner with machinists to improve setups, cycle times, and quality

Troubleshoot machining problems and implement practical solutions

Maintain organized program documentation and revision control

Support quoting with machining strategy and time estimates

Help develop programming templates, standards, and best practices

Mastercam is required

CNC milling and turning processes

3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining experience is a plus

What we're looking for

Required:

3+ years of CNC programming experience

Strong Mastercam proficiency

Solid understanding of milling and turning processes

Ability to read complex engineering drawings and GD&T

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Ability to collaborate directly with shop-floor teams

Preferred:

Multi-axis machining experience

Experience supporting quoting and time estimates

Experience developing programming templates or standards
