What you'll be doing

Develop and optimize high-quality CMM programs using ZEISS Calypso software (for a ZEISS Contura CMM 10/12/6 RDS with Vast XXT and a ZEISS Contura CMM 7/10/6 with Vast XT Gold)

Proof CMM programs and make necessary adjustments

Plan inspections, including ballooning drawings

Interpret and analyze CMM reports, measurement results, and part specifications

Support troubleshooting and validation activities to reach first-article qualification quickly and efficiently

Collaborate with Quality and Production teams to make and measure parts correctly the first time

Provide insights and recommendations to improve accuracy, repeatability, and efficiency

What we're looking forRequired

3+ years of hands-on Calypso programming experience

Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T

Thorough understanding of dimensional metrology principles and applications

Competitive programming times

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred

CMM inspection experience with curve forms, maximum material condition, and advanced GD&T

Familiarity with machining, especially 4- and 5-axis milling

Pay, benefits and schedule

Up to $90,000/year, depending on experience

$5,000 sign-on bonus: $2,500 at 90 days, $2,500 at 6 months
