Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer (PE) to join our team in Panama City, FL. This position will support the design, development, and management of civil infrastructure projects for municipal, county, state, and federal clients.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in hydrology and hydraulics, stormwater, drainage, water/wastewater, and transportation design, along with excellent communication and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Design and evaluate civil infrastructure projects.
Perform hydrology and hydraulic analysis, including stormwater, drainage, ponds, and conveyance systems.
Support water and wastewater system design.
Assist with roadway and transportation design.
Coordinate permitting requirements and prepare permit applications and supporting documentation.
Assist with project management, budgeting, and cost estimating.
Prepare technical reports and project documentation.
Collaborate with engineers, designers, clients, and regulatory agencies.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
Preferred skills: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft 365, and ICPR or other state-approved modeling software.
Qualifications
B.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
3–10 years of civil engineering experience.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida, or ability to obtain Florida licensure.
Experience with civil infrastructure projects, preferably public-sector work.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
