Dental Associates at Pitman is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Dental Assistant to join our busy, fast-paced, privately owned practice in Pitman, New Jersey, just 15–20 minutes from Philadelphia.

Established in 1953, our multi-doctor practice has built a loyal and growing patient base through decades of exceptional patient care. We are looking for a Dental Assistant who is confident in a busy clinical environment, takes initiative, follows through, and takes genuine pride in their work and the success of the team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Dental Assistant who wants to be an integral part of a strong, established practice—not simply fill a position.The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

Has solid dental assisting experience and can confidently step into a busy practice

Thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Is a self-starter who sees what needs to be done and takes initiative

Is dependable, organized, and takes ownership of their responsibilities

Is accountable and follows through without needing constant direction

Takes pride in their work and is committed to the success of the practice and patient experience

Works well independently while also being a collaborative team player

Is adaptable, efficient, and able to prioritize in a busy clinical setting

Maintains a positive, professional attitude and genuinely enjoys working with patients and a dental teamQualifications & Skills

X-ray certification required

CDA and/or RDA preferred

Completion of a Dental Assistant program preferred

Dental assisting experience strongly preferred

Exceptional new graduates may be considered if they demonstrate a strong ability to learn quickly, take initiative, and excel in a busy environment

Dentrix experience preferred

Proficient with temporary procedures (temps) and chairside assisting

Digital scanning experience

Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills
