Job Description*:

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Teams Telephony Engineer to join our Unified Communications team.

The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Teams Phone System, Direct Routing, AudioCodes SBC, and Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR).

This role involves designing, implementing, supporting, and optimizing enterprise voice and collaboration solutions while ensuring high service availability and an excellent end-user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage and support Microsoft Teams Phone System and Enterprise Voice environments.

· Configure, administer, and troubleshoot Direct Routing solutions using AudioCodes SBCs.

· Implement and maintain voice routing policies, dial plans, PSTN usages, call queues, and auto attendants.

· Support PSTN connectivity, SIP trunk integrations, emergency calling, and number management.

· Troubleshoot complex voice and collaboration issues, including SIP signaling and media-related problems.

· Analyze call flows and voice quality using Teams Admin Center, CQD, SIP logs, and packet captures.

· Deploy, manage, and support Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) devices and meeting room technologies.

· Perform SBC upgrades, certificate renewals, patch management, and health monitoring.

· Collaborate with telecom carriers, vendors, and Microsoft support for escalated issues.

· Participate in incident, problem, change, and release management activities.

· Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles.
